Dunkeld Estate
Dunkeld Estate is a five-home family unit located deep into a quiet neighbourhood. Perched on an incline, opulent views of Table Mountain anchor the horizon on the opposite side. From the first storey, the ceiling to floor windows and sliding doors bring an openness to the garden and the landscape beyond. Rich vegetation overflows onto the corners and animates the space outside the home. The built elements feature earthly stone and timber slats. Multiple landings and suspended-style steps transition from one plane to the next, bringing a lightweight depth to each sub-section. A pavilion is reserved as an area for relaxation, hosting a pool, gym and outdoor seating. Connected by a beige-cream tones, each home contains unique variations that are cohesive with the rest.
