About
The design for the plant is a backdrop to the advanced membrane water filtration technology being used for water treatment. This renewable and more sustainable way of treating water requires advanced expertise to manage the processes on site. Collaboration between engineers, architects and consultants was not only necessary – it also strengthened our long-standing alliance with Zutari.
The project won an AON Engineering Excellence Award for ‘Projects between R250 Million to R1 Billion’ in 2020. A testament to its lucrative design, the Stellenbosch WWTW building became a template for future WWTW buildings across the city of Cape Town.
