Lake Club
Designed to melt into the landscape, the Lake Club at Real De La Quinta accommodates water sports, wellness facilities, a gym and a restaurant. Gentle shapes and matte colours ensure that the building is passive to its natural surroundings: the lake and Marbella’s contoured landscape. The curved boundary edge and walkway through the lake mimic the dynamic movement of the surrounding hilly planes. Loyal to its location, the building is comprised of grey rock, peridotite, which is found in abundance in the area.
This project is an example of BIM-engineered results. Modelling the design in a virtual space allowed collaboration with Spanish architects across language barriers.
The property development around El Lago Club features Villa 32, a modern residence that overlooks impressive views.
The Lake Club will open in 2025.
